Our Community Values

Waivy Baby was built for parents in the trenches of the first year — exhausted, hopeful, and doing their best. Our community exists to support, not judge. These four values underpin everything:

✓ We Embrace
  • Kindness and empathy in every interaction
  • Diverse parenting approaches and family structures
  • Honest questions — no such thing as "too basic"
  • Support for all feeding choices (breast, formula, combo)
  • Cultural diversity and inclusive language
  • Vulnerability and honest struggle
  • Evidence-informed discussion with nuance
  • Celebrating every milestone, big and small
✕ We Do Not Tolerate
  • Judgment, shaming, or "mommy wars"
  • Misinformation that could endanger infants
  • Discrimination of any kind
  • Harassment of members, experts, or staff
  • Unsolicited advice or pressure tactics
  • Medical claims presented as fact
  • Self-promotion or spam
  • Any content that exploits or endangers children
03
Virtual Group Classes
📌 All Virtual Classes Are Educational Only

Virtual classes are group educational experiences — not individual consultations, not medical advice, and not a substitute for your child's healthcare provider. All class content is governed by our Master Legal Disclaimer.

  • Join on time. Late arrivals may not be admitted to classes that have begun. Recordings may be available for certain membership tiers — check your plan.
  • Camera and audio. You may be asked to turn on your camera for interactive sessions. Mute yourself when not speaking unless invited to contribute. Respect the instructor's direction at all times.
  • Safe environment. You are solely responsible for creating a safe physical environment before, during, and after every class — for yourself and your child. Stop participation immediately if anything feels unsafe.
  • No recording. You may not record, screenshot, screen-record, or capture any portion of a virtual class by any means without prior written consent from Waivy Baby. Violation results in immediate removal and potential legal action.
  • No sharing access links. Class links, access codes, and invites are for your personal use only. Sharing them constitutes a material breach of your membership agreement.
  • Chat and Q&A conduct. Keep chat and Q&A questions on-topic, respectful, and constructive. Personal attacks, spam, promotional content, and off-topic links are prohibited.
  • Children in class. Your child may be present during a class, but you are fully responsible for their supervision at all times. Waivy Baby instructors and staff have no duty of supervision over your child.
  • Technical issues. Waivy Baby is not liable for connection drops, platform outages, audio/video failures, or device issues. If a class is cut short due to a platform failure on Waivy Baby's end, we will make reasonable efforts to reschedule or provide a recording.
  • Replays. Access to class replays is governed by your membership tier. Replay access may be time-limited and can be revoked. Do not download, re-upload, or distribute replays.
  • Waivy Baby may record all virtual classes for training, quality assurance, content creation, and marketing purposes. By participating, you consent to being recorded.
  • Waivy Baby may remove any participant from a class at any time for any conduct violation without notice, refund, or liability.
  • Waivy Baby may cancel, reschedule, or modify any class at any time with reasonable notice where possible. No-shows and late cancellations from participants are not eligible for refunds per our Refund Policy.
  • Class content, curriculum, and instructors are subject to change without notice.
  • Waivy Baby retains all intellectual property rights in class content, recordings, materials, and curricula.
04
1:1 Private Expert Sessions
⚠️ Critical Reminder

Even in a private 1:1 session, Waivy Baby experts are not your personal healthcare providers. No 1:1 session creates a professional-client, doctor-patient, or therapist-client relationship. All guidance remains educational and informational. See our Master Legal Disclaimer.

  • 48-Hour Cancellation Required: You must cancel or reschedule at least 48 hours before your appointment. Cancellations inside 48 hours and no-shows are not eligible for refunds or rescheduling credits unless required by law or expressly stated in our Refund Policy.
  • Late Arrival: If you join a session more than 10 minutes late, the expert may treat it as a no-show at their discretion. Session time is not extended for late arrivals.
  • Expert No-Show: If an expert fails to appear within 10 minutes without prior notice, contact support@waivybaby.com immediately. We will reschedule or credit the session.
  • Intake Forms: Complete all intake forms honestly and accurately before your session. Providing false, incomplete, or misleading information releases Waivy Baby and the expert from any liability arising from guidance based on that information.
  • Single User: Sessions are booked for one individual. You may not share your session slot with others or allow others to participate without prior written approval from Waivy Baby.
  • No participant recording: You may not record any 1:1 session by any means without prior written consent from both Waivy Baby and the expert. Unauthorized recording is a material breach of these Guidelines and your membership agreement.
  • Waivy Baby may record: Sessions may be recorded by Waivy Baby for quality assurance, training, dispute resolution, and legal protection. You consent to this by booking a session.
  • Respectful conduct required: Abusive, threatening, sexually inappropriate, or harassing behavior toward an expert results in immediate session termination, account suspension, and potential permanent ban — with no refund.
  • Sharing session content: You may not share, post, publish, or distribute any content, advice, recommendations, or materials from your private session — including on social media — without prior written permission from Waivy Baby.
  • Safe environment: You are solely responsible for ensuring a safe environment for yourself and your child during a session. The expert has no duty of care for your physical environment.
  • Experts are independent contractors, not Waivy Baby employees. They provide services in their capacity as educational support providers only.
  • Experts are not licensed to practice medicine, psychology, therapy, or any other regulated profession in your jurisdiction unless separately disclosed. Their credentials do not constitute a license to provide clinical care to you.
  • Waivy Baby is not liable for the advice, recommendations, or conduct of independent expert contractors beyond what is expressly set out in our Terms & Conditions and Master Legal Disclaimer.
  • Any claim against an individual expert must first be raised with Waivy Baby at legal@waivybaby.com before any independent action.
05
Webinars & Live Q&As
  • Educational purpose only: All webinar content is for general educational purposes. Questions answered during live Q&As do not constitute individualized professional advice, even if your specific situation is discussed.
  • Question submission: Questions submitted via chat, Q&A tools, or polling are subject to moderation. Waivy Baby reserves the right to decline, edit, or skip any question for any reason.
  • No recording by participants: Recording, screenshotting, or capturing webinar content in any form is strictly prohibited without prior written consent from Waivy Baby.
  • Waivy Baby records all webinars: By registering, you consent to Waivy Baby recording the session and using it for business purposes including replays, content creation, training, and marketing.
  • Registration non-transferable: Webinar registrations are for the registered individual only and may not be transferred, resold, or shared.
  • Capacity limits: Waivy Baby may limit webinar attendance. Registration does not guarantee a seat if capacity is reached before your confirmed registration.
  • Technical failures: Waivy Baby is not liable for platform outages, connection failures, or audio/video issues during live webinars. We will make reasonable efforts to provide a recording or reschedule where a failure is on our end.
06
eBooks, Digital Guides & Downloadable Content

When you purchase or receive access to a Waivy Baby eBook, guide, template, checklist, or any other downloadable content ("Digital Content"), you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable personal license to access and use that content for your own personal, non-commercial parenting purposes only.

  • No sharing or redistribution: You may not share, forward, post, upload, sell, sublicense, or otherwise distribute Digital Content to any third party — including posting pages or excerpts on social media, parent forums, or any other platform.
  • No reproduction: You may not reproduce, copy, modify, create derivative works from, or excerpt Digital Content for any purpose without prior written permission from Waivy Baby.
  • Personal use only: Digital Content is licensed for use by the individual purchaser within their household. Use in commercial contexts, coaching businesses, parenting classes, or other professional settings requires a separate commercial license from Waivy Baby.
  • Gifting restrictions: Digital Content may not be "gifted," transferred, or shared with other individuals unless Waivy Baby expressly provides a gifting feature for that specific product.
  • No refunds on digital content: Due to the nature of digital products, all eBook and Digital Content purchases are final and non-refundable once accessed or downloaded, unless required by law.
  • Accuracy disclaimer: Digital Content is provided for general informational purposes only. It is not individualized medical, clinical, or professional advice. Always consult your child's healthcare provider before implementing any guidance.
  • All Digital Content is the exclusive intellectual property of Waivy Baby LLC and is protected by U.S. and international copyright law.
  • The purchase price of Digital Content does not transfer any ownership or intellectual property rights — you are purchasing a license to use, not ownership of the content.
  • Waivy Baby actively monitors for unauthorized distribution of its Digital Content and will pursue all available legal remedies against infringers, including DMCA takedowns, injunctive relief, and damages.
  • "Waivy Baby," all product names, logos, and brand identifiers appearing in Digital Content are protected trademarks and may not be used without prior written permission.
07
Events (Virtual & In-Person)
  • Registration required: All events require advance registration. Walk-ins and transfers are not permitted unless expressly stated. Registration is personal and non-transferable.
  • Cancellation policy: Event cancellation terms are specified at registration. Unless otherwise stated, cancellations made less than 48 hours before an event are non-refundable.
  • Code of conduct at events: All attendees must treat each other, Waivy Baby staff, and experts with respect. Harassment, discrimination, disruptive behavior, or any conduct that compromises the safety or comfort of others will result in immediate removal without refund.
  • Children at events: If children are permitted at an event, it will be stated at registration. You are fully responsible for supervising your child at all times. Waivy Baby assumes no liability for any injury, accident, or incident involving a child at any event.
  • Photo and video at events: Waivy Baby may photograph or film events for marketing and documentation purposes. By attending, you consent to appearing in event photos and videos unless you notify us in writing before the event. You may not photograph or film other attendees without their consent.
  • Assumption of risk: Attendance at any Waivy Baby event (in-person or virtual) is at your own risk. Waivy Baby is not liable for any injury, illness, loss, or damage arising from event attendance.
  • Event changes: Waivy Baby reserves the right to cancel, reschedule, relocate, or modify any event at any time. In the event of a cancellation by Waivy Baby, registered attendees will be offered a refund or credit at Waivy Baby's discretion.
08
Product Boxes & Physical Goods
  • Supervision required at all times: All products in every Waivy Baby box — including The Dreamers, The Explorers, The Movers, and any surprise drops or limited editions — must be used under strict adult supervision. Never leave a child unattended with any product.
  • Read all manufacturer instructions: Before using any product, read and follow all manufacturer instructions, age/weight guidelines, warnings, and safety standards. Waivy Baby is a curator and distributor — product liability rests with the original manufacturer.
  • Developmental appropriateness: Milestone box designations are general guides only. You are solely responsible for determining whether a product is appropriate for your specific child's developmental stage, size, and health status.
  • Allergen and choking hazard responsibility: You are responsible for checking all products for allergens, small parts, and choking hazards before use. Waivy Baby cannot guarantee products are allergen-free.
  • Product feedback: If you receive a defective or unsafe product, contact support@waivybaby.com immediately. Do not post defective product content publicly before first contacting us — we will work with you to resolve the issue promptly.
  • Surprise Drops — anti-abuse: Surprise drops and limited-edition releases are limited to one per member per household. Reselling, listing, or flipping Waivy Baby surprise drop items for profit is prohibited and may result in account termination.
  • Box contents: Contents may vary due to supply constraints. Substitutions of equal or greater value may occur. By accepting a box, you agree that substitutions do not constitute a breach of your membership agreement.
09
Expert & Coach Standards
For Our Expert Community

Waivy Baby experts and coaches are independent contractors who bring tremendous value to our community. These standards exist to protect members, protect experts, and maintain the integrity of the Waivy Baby brand. Experts must review and comply with their Independent Contractor Agreement in addition to these Guidelines.

  • Educational scope only: All expert communications, sessions, webinars, and class content must remain within the educational and informational scope defined by Waivy Baby. Experts must not provide medical diagnoses, treatment recommendations, prescriptions, or individualized clinical advice under any circumstances.
  • Accurate credentials: Experts must accurately represent their qualifications, certifications, and experience at all times. Misrepresentation of credentials is grounds for immediate termination of the contractor relationship.
  • Referral duty: If during any interaction an expert becomes aware of a situation that may require urgent medical attention or emergency care, they must immediately direct the member to seek professional medical help or call 911. Experts must never attempt to manage or diagnose a potential emergency situation themselves.
  • Confidentiality: Experts must maintain the confidentiality of all member information shared during sessions, intake forms, or platform communications. Member data may not be used outside of the Waivy Baby platform for any purpose.
  • No independent solicitation: Experts may not solicit Waivy Baby members for services outside the Waivy Baby platform — including direct private coaching, competing platforms, or personal businesses — without prior written consent from Waivy Baby.
  • Professional conduct: Experts must maintain professional, respectful, and supportive conduct in all member interactions. Boundary violations, inappropriate relationships, and unprofessional behavior are grounds for immediate removal.
  • Platform communications only: Expert-member communications must be conducted through Waivy Baby's official platform channels. Exchanging personal contact information (personal email, phone number, social media) with members is prohibited.
  • Content ownership: All content, materials, curricula, and resources created by an expert for use in Waivy Baby classes, sessions, or seminars are owned by Waivy Baby LLC or subject to the terms of the expert's Independent Contractor Agreement.

Per our Master Legal Disclaimer, members expressly release, waive, and forever discharge individual experts from personal liability arising from educational guidance provided through the Waivy Baby platform. However, this shield does not protect experts from:

  • Willful misconduct, fraud, or gross negligence;
  • Misrepresentation of credentials or qualifications;
  • Violations of their Independent Contractor Agreement with Waivy Baby;
  • Conduct that falls outside the defined educational scope of Waivy Baby services; or
  • Independent solicitation of members in violation of these Guidelines.
10
Wellness Club Portal & Online Community
  • Be kind and supportive: This is a parenting support community. All posts, comments, reactions, and messages must be respectful, constructive, and in the spirit of mutual support.
  • No medical advice in community posts: Do not post content that presents medical diagnoses, treatment recommendations, or clinical guidance as fact — whether your own or shared from elsewhere. Sharing general experiences is welcome; presenting them as medical guidance is not.
  • Protect children's privacy: Do not post identifying information about children other than your own. Do not share photos of other people's children without their explicit consent.
  • No personal information sharing: Do not share your own or others' sensitive personal information (address, phone number, financial information, health records) in community spaces.
  • No solicitation or self-promotion: Community spaces are not for advertising, selling, or promoting third-party products, services, or platforms — including your own. One violation results in content removal; repeated violations result in account suspension.
  • Stay on-topic: Posts should be relevant to parenting, child development, family wellness, or the Waivy Baby experience. Off-topic, political, or divisive content will be removed.
  • No impersonation: Do not impersonate Waivy Baby staff, experts, or other members.
  • Respect intellectual property: Do not reproduce or share Member Content, seminar materials, eBook excerpts, or any Waivy Baby intellectual property in community spaces without authorization.
  • No account sharing: Membership access is for the individual account holder only. Sharing login credentials with others — even family members — is a violation of your membership agreement unless your plan expressly permits it.
  • One account per household: Creating multiple accounts to circumvent membership limits, access controls, or surprise drop restrictions is prohibited and will result in permanent ban of all associated accounts.
  • Member Content is non-transferable: You may not share seminar links, access codes, replay links, or any gated Member Content with non-members under any circumstances.
  • Tier-appropriate access: You may only access features, content, and benefits corresponding to your active membership tier (Basic, Pro, Elite). Attempting to access higher-tier content without the appropriate plan is a violation of your membership agreement.

13
Intellectual Property & Recording Policy

All content created, produced, or distributed by Waivy Baby — including but not limited to virtual class recordings, webinar recordings, eBooks, guides, templates, checklists, seminar slides, curriculum, community resources, product box designs, box names, branding, and website content — is the exclusive intellectual property of Waivy Baby LLC and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws.

  • No recording by participants: Recording any Waivy Baby class, session, webinar, or event — by any means including screen recording, audio recording, or third-party capture tools — is strictly prohibited without prior written consent. Violation is a material breach resulting in immediate account termination and may result in legal action for damages.
  • Waivy Baby records everything: By participating in any class, session, webinar, or event, you consent to Waivy Baby recording that interaction for its own business purposes, including training, quality assurance, content creation, and marketing.
  • User-generated content: Any content you post, upload, or submit to Waivy Baby community spaces grants Waivy Baby a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and moderate that content as part of operating the platform.
  • DMCA: Waivy Baby will promptly respond to valid DMCA takedown notices. To submit a notice, email legal@waivybaby.com with subject line "DMCA Takedown Notice" and include all information required under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3).

14
Reporting a Violation

If you witness a violation of these Guidelines — by another member, an expert, or anyone interacting with Waivy Baby — please report it immediately. Your report is confidential.

  • In-platform reporting: Use the "Report" button on any post, comment, or user profile within the Wellness Club portal.
  • Email: Send a detailed report to support@waivybaby.com with the subject line "Community Violation Report." Include the date, description of the violation, platform where it occurred, and any screenshots or evidence.
  • Legal or safety concerns: For serious safety issues or legal matters, email legal@waivybaby.com directly.
  • Emergency: If you believe a child or person is in immediate danger, call 911 before contacting Waivy Baby.

Waivy Baby will acknowledge reports within 2 business days and investigate all credible reports. We will not disclose the identity of reporting parties. Retaliating against someone for making a good-faith report is itself a violation of these Guidelines.

15
